Stop using the term free schools

Additional Information

What is free about these schools?
The term free schools is misleading and should be dropped.
Free schools are costing this country a great deal of money - hundreds of millions of pounds - paid for by taxpayers.
The monies are being made available to promote a political agenda that was not agreed by the general electorate.
Some of the money used to pay for these "free" schools has come by draconian cuts to local authority education budgets eg. building programmes.
Please drop this misnomer now.
