Petition Action

Call to follow advice of World Health Organisation for Coronavirus Mitigation

Petition Details

The government is not following advice from WHO. They are not testing community for the virus, isolating the infected person and others in close contact and not reporting true levels of the virus.
Implement better detection, surveillance, isolation and attempt to break the chains of transmission.

Additional Information

Follow WHO guidance
1 Prepare people and health facilities
2 Detect, prevent & treat with surveillance to find, isolate, test and treat each suspected case
3 Reduce and suppress
Find/isolate as many cases as possible, quarante their closest contacts. This can slow down transmission to protect health facilities, & other vital areas but only if you test all suspected cases
Innovate and improve
4. Find new ways to prevent infections, save lives & minimize impact. Share lessons
