Issue an official statement enabling working from home during Covid-19
Right now, a lot of workplaces are not switching to work from home unless there is an official letter from the Government. Companies denying the work from home scheme are causing danger to our homes when our families go out to work when they can easily do their jobs from home.
It is causing great danger for people at home who have underlying illnesses or who are old. We need social distancing now and this won't happen without companies adjusting to work from home. Customer Support roles done via phone and email should %100 switch to WFH.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to direct employers to implement home working, but it's not clear exactly what action you want the Government to take to achieve this.
The Government has told employers to encourage their employees to work from home unless it is impossible for them to do so: www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-to-employers-and-businesses-about-covid-19/guidance-for-employers-and-businesses-on-coronavirus-covid-19
We have published a Government calling on the Government to make consider taking action to close down businesses and require home working, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/301439
