Petition Action

Be clear on financial aid restrictions of movement for covid-19

Petition Details

1. Financial aid - Rent/mortgage breaks
2. Loss of wages if not actually sick but still in quarantine
3. What restrictions are in place, mass gatherings of how many? Why doesn't that include children in educational settings?
4. Do not tell people not to go to pubs etc, close them.

Additional Information

The Goverment is not being transparent. People are not clear on what is expected of them.
Asking people not to do something such as go to the pub should be enforced.
People are becoming more confused.
Why are we doing things differently than other countries. Surely the science is the same everywhere.
Re-open community testing centres.
Our Government looks weak and our nation a joke due to the lack of action being taken.
Do not ask people to stop doing things- tell them they have to.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. The Government has introduced new rules and guidance since you started this petition.
