Government to utilize the entertainment industry during COVID-19 outbreak
I'd like the government to utilize the skill set that comes from the event industry and provide business and individuals with work contracts for the duration of the outbreak filling in the gaps within the resources around the country.
The UK events industry is facing an unprecedented challenge because of the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, and the events that have been cancelled as a result.
With this there has been a large number of resources and personnel left without income to hand.
Let the event industry help where possible by creating temporary short term contract in areas that require support the most around the country.
All for one and one for all.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand that you want the Government to support and utilise the events industry, but it's not clear exactly what action you want the Government to take to achieve this.
We have published a petition calling on the Government to offer economic assistance to the events industry during COVID-19, which you might like to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/301186
