Govt close venue/pub to ensure safety of public and min wage workers - COVID-19
Government to force venues and pubs to close for the safety of public and the financial support of min wage workers. so they are eligible for insurances and subsidy.
Currently the Government are forcing venues to stay open, to avoid providing them financial support they would be entitled to. They are also telling the public not to use these businesses, which is ensuring their failure and therefore loss of jobs for all their workers.
The damage of which will last long after the epidemic has subsided.
As well as allowing the public to gather in large groups working to
exacerbate the number of infections.
