Stop deportations to Sri Lanka

Additional Information

I am asking the Government to stop deportations of Tamils to Sri Lanka as it is in breach of article 3 of the Convention on Torture.
According to the UN up to 40,000 civilians were killed during the last days of the civil war in 2009. After the war up to 300.000 Tamils, most of whom civilians, were put in internment camps, where thousands are still being held today.
Human Rights Watch and the medical NGO Freedom from Torture have said that the United Kingdom should suspend deportations of ethnic Tamil asylum seekers to Sri Lanka because of documented cases of abuses in Sri Lanka, also of people who have been deported there.
