Order all pubs, bars, and venues to close with immediate effect
The Government must indefinitely ban pubs, clubs, and other venues from remaining open until the COVID-19 pandemic is controlled within the UK.
The Government has requested that the population avoids visiting pubs, bars, and other venues. While this is seemingly good advice, this leaves the decision to close venues in the hands of business owners. Without an outright ban from the Government, this will prevent businesses receiving insurance payouts, leaving jobs and the hospitality industry at large highly vulnerable.
