The Government needs to introduce a Citizens' Basic Income NOW!
With many people facing months without income (freelancers, self-employed, small shop owners), the government needs to take steps to secure an general unconditional basic income for people to survive the worldwide Corona virus crisis.
People in this country have been struggling for years now ( >> foodbanks!). With the obvious wipe-out of virtually all face-to-face business, leaving employees out of pocket, the freelance sector, especially the arts and music industry, will be extremely hit. Many artists/musicians and other freelancers have no financial backup or savings. They need to be supported. The easiest and most uncomplicated solution for everybody is a Basic Citizens' Income.
