Close schools now to stop GCSE and A-Levels being postponed of coronavirus
As a Year 11 school student many people are concerned at the moment of what will happen to our GCSEs and I believe that postponing it should not be an option (eg:not postponing until September or Spring 2021).As well as this students would like more clearer information on what we will be doing.
In my opinion this is what we should be doing and it is a better option without causing chaos.Even though the Coronavirus numbers will be at its peak around the time of May we should still be able to do our GCSEs on time.For example if the schools do close down we could only bring the students who have gcses or A-Levels to come to school and go back home after(as well as this the invigilators could put masks on and keep tissues in the exam hall).Another point is I also think we should not repeat another year since we should be preparing for a levels and applications.Also if we do postpone it teachers will not be focused on the new year 11s
