Provide financial support for small businesses affected by the COVID19 outbreak.
Provide more financial help for businesses that have had to close due to a public response to the COVID19, especially in light of the governments advice to avoid going out to any public spaces or gathering.
If local businesses are not supported through the health crisis, then they will struggle to resume business after the outbreak. Leading to a reduction in tax revenue for the government, and so services like the NHS will struggle to recover from the strain that COVID19 has caused. If businesses aren’t supported mass unemployment will ensue during, and after the virus.
