Petition Action

Introduce an aggressive testing programme for coronavirus.

Petition Details

Learn from what South Korea did right and what Italy did wrong. South Korea was able to identify carriers of the virus early and ensured they stayed away from others. Italy did not.

Additional Information

A comprehensive testing programme would prevent people unknowingly spreading the virus and would also provide valuable statistical information to fight the disease. At present we are only recording cases at have reached a severity serious enough to require hospital intervention. This is almost useless and distorts figures to give a misleading representation of the hold that the virus has on the UK.
