Save Swansea Recreation Ground
To ensure that the Recreation Ground (Mumbles Road) remains a green space and is in receipt of 'Village Green Status'.
Councillor Peter May is spearheading this initiative supported by all local resident groups, open spaces association, enviromental law foundation, sports groups, local schools (to name a few). Recreation Ground has been part of Swansea's Cultural heritage and history for over 100 years and figures prominatly in passed memories and present experiences of the majority of people living in Swansea past and present. We would like to retain this green and pleasant space as just that.
