Enforce supermarket controls now to stop panic buying and food/other shortages.
Introducing mandatory controls at supermarket entrances and checkouts to limit purchases, backed up by a system of rationing if necessary.
To prevent extreme hardship to all households including the most vulnerable, and to ensure and maintain public confidence, during the current coronovirus crisis.
