Extend the hours of bus passes so that the over 70s can get to shops offering early opening during the Coronavirus Pandemic

Amend the policy so councils can instruct bus companies to accept the passes during the Coronavirus Pandemic

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Operating times for free bus travel for pensioners are set by local councils. Since you started this petition, some councils have already changed their operating hours for free travel to allow people to travel for shopping at designated times. You should check your local council's website for more information.
