NHS staff with children will not be paid if schools close.
NHS staff have been informed that if schools close and children are at home but are not sick or in isolation that they will have to take the time off as unpaid. We commit our lives to the NHS and to serving the community & we need continued support from the government during these uncertain times
We deserve something in return for our commitment to the community, we dedicate our lives to ensure that our NHS can continue to run smoothly and it is because of our dedication to the NHS that it is able to function.

In any event, since you started your petition, the Government has announced that schools must close. Schools are however still open to the children of key workers, including NHS staff, so they can continue to work.
