Introduce a daily Road Tax for foreign trucks entering Britain
As in other European countries a daily road tax charge is payable in order to use their roads for HGV's.
A charge should be introduced in this country for all foreign HGV's using our roads. The benefits of the extra income would help to repair the damage that foreign trucks do to the roads ,central reservations , signs etc whist in this country. At the same time putting extra cash in the pot for new road projects and maintainance. Least of all with the amount of non Brittish registered trucks on our roads the revenue will help the economy.
