Suspend rent and mortgage payments for an appropriate time during COVID19
The suspension of rent and mortgage is imperative in securing our futures and avoiding mass debt, bankruptcy or even homelessness.
This is one of the most pressing times the world has seen in decades and we need the support of our leaders. Without support from our Government, the trust will be lost and lives will be destroyed. For the population to be crippled financially as well as mentally and physically is unjust and avoidable. Please sign this petition so we can be heard.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Suspending payments for rent, council tax, mortgages and utilities is a matter for individual landlords, councils, mortgage providers and utility providers, and not the UK Government or Parliament.
