Get Rid of e-petitions

Additional Information

Given the recent desicion of the commons committee NOT to schedule a debate on the NHS reform bill, despite Dr Kailash Chand's petition 'Drop the Health Bill' having more than exeeded the required number of signatories (163,592 at the time of writing) I wonder if there is any point in persisting with this scheme?

I call on the government to stop pretending we live in a democracy
