Stop forced isolation/martial law without a test or fair trial.
Not force everyone to be locked into their homes under a police or army presence, nor should anyone be fined or sent to prison for except ode their God given right of freedom regardless of what is going on in the world
Because it goes against basic rights, if you want people to isolate we need proper sick pay which will cover our rents and mortgages but still allow us to buy food ssp dosent even cover my rent. Being able to leave my home should not and is not a punishable law nor am I breaking any laws of the land nor any public order acts, therefore when new rules are drafted to cope with a so called epidemic which dosent take into account the fit and healthy is martial law and in humane

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government has not implemented forced isolation or martial law. The Government has advised everyone to stay at home except for specific reasons.
The Coronavirus Act gave the Government powers to issue directions relating to events, gatherings and premises, and made it an offence for a person to fail to comply with a prohibition made under those powers, unless they have a reasonable excuse.
We have published a number of petitions calling on the Government to make testing for coronavirus widely available, and to provide financial support to individuals who have been affected by the outbreak. You can see all of the open petitions relating to coroanvirus here: petition.parliament.uk/petitions?state=open&topic=covid-19
If you want the Government to repeal the Coronavirus Act, or retract the directions that have been made under this act, you could start a new petition requesting this.
