Delay GCSE and A Level Examinations to September 2020
In light of the Government's latest announcement to cancel the May 2020 exam series, I propose that the exams are delayed to September to allow for adequate time after the peak of the outbreak and to ensure all students have a fair chance.
Exams must still go ahead because otherwise universities will base decisions off of predicted grades, which gives an unfair disadvantage to those who have done badly in year 12 but aimed to prove themselves in these exams. Cancelling exams all together literally will rob these people of their future, so they must still go ahead
