Petition Action

An urgent plan for funding to support the 4.3m self employed with no income

Petition Details

1. Implement the budget announcement from over 2 weeks ago to remove minimum income floor for universal credit immediately, jobcentres still have no instruction to do this even for self isolation.
2. provide loans for self employed similar to other businesses
3. stat sick pay for self employed

Additional Information

The 4.3m self employed have been left behind and left out completely, due to advice to pubs, mine and hundreds of thousands of others in entertainments sector have been hit probably harder than most and lost ALL income and work for the foreseeable yet despite mentions, there has been no support announced at all and what was advised in the budget is still not implemented at job centres.
