Amalgamation of PCV and Class 2 licences.
Avert the Supply Chain crisis brought on by Covid-19 by allowing the PCV and Class 2 licence to be the same.
At the moment all I hear about is supply chain issue, draft in the army to drive etc. Many coach and bus company’s are struggling atm due to social separation and borders being closed. By allowing these PCV drivers to have access to a class 2 licence (even temporarily) this would allow people to stay employed whilst helping to deliver urgent supply’s around the UK. Would also give employers an easier time as the company using the drivers would cover there wages etc.
