Free telephone calls to 01 02 03 numbers during the covid 19 outbreak.
Owing to the recent outbreak of covid 19 outbreak and the imminent prospect of over 70 s having to do self isolation there only contact with the outside world will be the telephone if not internet savvy. Perhaps the telephone company’s could wave charges after all they make enough money.
To help the over 70s stay on touch with people without worrying about there telephone bill

The call costs for different telephone numbers are a matter for individual communication providers, and not the Government or Parliament. Ofcom, the regulator for the communications sector, has powers to cap certain call costs, but it these decisions are a matter for the independent regulator, and not the Government or Parliament.
