Petition Action

Provide financial aid for students on zero hours contracts.

Petition Details

Some students including myself work alongside their studies on zero hours contracts. Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, we have had our hours reduced or stopped and given the current situation, cannot support ourselves financially, and afford to buy food and pay for accomodation.

Additional Information

There will be other people in the country that have more important financial responsibilities, such as children and mortgage payments, and students will struggle to find employment that fits around their studies. I feel the students that work alongside studies should be able to receive support to help them through this time.
