Petition Action

Pass Legislation to Suspend Rent and Council Tax Effective Immediately.

Petition Details

£330bn pledged by the Conservative Gov to help Businesses and Landlords while Rent-paying citizens are left to fend for themselves and rot in isolation.

We pay an absurd amount of Rent that is double or triple when compared to the amount Landlords pay for their mortgages which is covered by us.

Additional Information

To top it all of we also have to pay extortionate amounts in Council Tax to a council that can’t even fix potholes, provide a decent bus service or even fix a critical bridge in their own backyard (Merton Council please stand up). Enough is Enough. You owe us. And we are collecting.

The world and all of its inhabitants have suffered this past year and now once again we are being tested to the brink - we must be strong and brave. It will take a monumental universal effort to overcome this incredibly challenging period but we must do it whilst upholding social justice and equal rights for all.
