Introduce WW2 style rationing to reduce the panic buying due to COVID-19
Due to the COVID-19 fears of self isolation and lockdown a small percentage of the population is panic buying important and essential daily supplies meaning vulnerable people or those who work in critical front line roles are unable to do sufficient shopping for the basics.
Introduce rationing which universally limits people to buying a set number of essentials and not repeatedly going back to shops with limits to buy more.
Or
Allow front line and NHS workers and other key workers like security officers to do shopping straight after elderly and vulnerable get a shopping break before the rest of the population panic buys.
