Abolish Council Tax for the whole duration of the pandemic period + 6 months
Abolish Council Tax for the whole duration of the pandemic period and an additional 6 months, allowing the economy to recover.
As all businesses are not going to receive any charges for business rates, this must be reflected to all households especially the ones where income has been affected. Many people are self employed or small LTD’s that don’t meet the government’s criteria’s for any grants and loan offers don’t look attractive as the future is unsure and more debt will add more pressure to any small business or self employed person.
