Petition Action

Hazard suplment pay for Healthcare workers in direct contact with patients

Petition Details

Give the healthcare workers that are in direct contact with patients a pay supplement for the risks that they are taking

Additional Information

Healthcare workers ( mainly nurses, doctors and nursing assistants)often get in contact with body fluids ( blood, urine, vomit etc) and with other dangerous pathogens like the most recent Covid-19 virus , bacteria, fungi, etc that can put the professional lives at risk while they are taking care of patients and trying to save their lives. Even using PPE correctly they are still dealing with a hazard and endangering their own lives in the best interest of patients.
