Stop mortgage, rent and utility companies taking payments for next 2-3 months
Force mortgage and loan companies as well as landlords/ladies and utility companies to stop taking payments from all its customers as standard during the coronavirus outbreak for at least the next 2-3 months. Those wishing to continue to pay as normal can opt-in.
At this unprecedented time, everyone in the country is anxious about keeping a roof over their head and being able to feed themselves and their loved ones. The banks etc are providing conflicting messages on this matter, after this week's series of briefings, and people are worried their credit history will be affected if they ask for help. This action will alleviate stress on families as the decision is taken for them and also the banks etc that are overrun with requests for information.
