Postpone all 3rd year university submissions and exams till next academic year
Due to this pandemic, all students are faced with an uncertain future based on university closures and lack of facilities.
Unless students’ needs are accommodated the situation could be detrimental both to their academic performance and their wellbeing.
Universities need to pay attention and focus specifically on third year education and urges the government to postpone submissions and exams. The government needs to allow all third year courses to retake in autumn 2020 to reduce the impact of this pandemic on degrees and classifications.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Decisions about exams are a matter for exam boards and individual schools, not the UK Government or Parliament. You can read the decision made by exam boards on what will happen to exams here:

If you want the Government to review the decision to use previous data to calculate exam grades, you may wish to sign this petition:

As a result of the large numbers of petitions people have tried to start on this issue, and following a large number of questions it received from petitioners about exams, the Petitions Committee asked the Government about the impact of coronavirus on schools and exams.
