insurance companies to compensate loss of earnings. early years - coronavirus
Put in legislation where insurance companies must pay out for loss of earnings for a forced closure. (high risk / longer isolation evidence shown) for the covid-19 virus. We pay insurance to protect us in these events! we can go from earning a self sustaining wage to less than SSP.
Put in place legislation/a plan to protect the child care and early years providers from being wiped out due to lack of resources and financial aid to get us through this period of disaster.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The decision to pay out under a policy is one for individual insurance companies, not the UK Government or Parliament.
If you are unhappy with the decision of your insurer you should complain directly to them.
If you are unsatisfied with how an insurer responds to your complaint you may wish to contact the financial ombudsman: www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/businesses/complaints-deal/insurance
