Extend COVID-19 support to mobile and independent hospitality businesses.
* Include mobile and independent catering businesses in the emergency plans and financial support for the hospitality sector.
* Allow caterers to support this emergency.
* We need inclusion in planing changes to enable mobile and independent catering businesses to pivot to takeaway / collection.
We are a trade body that represents 6,500 independent food & drink businesses who feel forgotten by government at this time. 85% of our members are mobile, event or independent caterers.
It is clear that the support measures for the hospitality industry do not apply to our members. The vast majority do not pay business rates, are not covered by their insurance & can not take on additional debt.
The mobile and independent catering and bar sector is in a state of emergency & needs your help.
