Suspend all UK Hospital car parking charges during the Covid 19 crisis.
Suspend hospital car parking charges for visitors and staff during the Covid 19 crisis. The government must compensate NHS Trusts, rather than requiring them to shoulder this extra burden.
This is in line with the government policy to provide the NHS with whatever it needs at this time.
During this time of national crisis when many people will be under huge economic pressure, suspending hospital car parking charges would be a popular decision for people, and not be a huge cost.
This is in line with the government policy to provide the NHS with "whatever it needs" at this time. It would provide an important symbolic gesture, especially for families & staff facing great stress & distress.
This would be a popular decision, with a finite time limit, in line with current policy
