Reschedule the GCSE Exams Rather than Cancel them.
We would like the government to delay the GCSE exams, rather than cancelling them and using predicted grades, (a combination of teacher assessments and previous assignments, according to the BBC), to produce our final grade. This is in order to avoid bias/ harsher marking and imprecise grading.
We want the Government/ Parliament to enforce this action due to the chance of unfair marking, and the inconsideration of the jump from our predicted grades to the attained grade, frequently occuring among students, due to intensified revision, as the mocks are used by countless students as a 'motivational tool'. Here is a real example of one students increased grades from mocks to the final grade. EngLit=D-A.EngLan=C-A.Maths=B-A*.Psychology=A*-A*.Additional Science=A*-A*.RS=A*-B.Citizenship=B-A*
