Protect Delivery Drivers amidst the COVID-19 Pandmeic
I’m requesting immediate action to protect home delivery drivers - ASDA’s especially
Drivers aren’t being:
- protected adequately
- provided appropriate safety equipment such as masks and gloves
- given clear instructions on procedures
- given a bonus for working in such conditions
I believe it is vital to protect those who are risking their health to delivery food and grocery shopping to the elderly, vulnerable and to the general public.
It is unacceptable for workers to be irresponsibly and dangerously exposed to the virus, without professional, direct action from companies such as ASDA, who are proving irresponsible in their approach to the virus behind the scenes where the newspapers can not see them
