Class supermarket staff as key workers.

Petition Details

Class supermarket staff as key workers so our children can stay in childcare.

Additional Information

Supermarket staff are as key as ever now getting food to the nation. Delivery drivers are classed as key workers but if we're not there to order the stock in, put the stock on the shelves or to serve the customers then what's the point in having the stock delivered to the stores. A lot of us are putting ourselves and family at risk to be on the front line serving the public.
Also many single parents work in supermarkets and often the other parent isn't on the scene so not working unless sick isn't and option.
