Universities in UK to pay £3000 back to its students to help with living cost.
Dear fellow students,
Due to the current pandemic COVID-19 we must demand that universities help us with living cost by returning £3000 to our accounts out of £9250.
This is considering the fact that as students we have no other options to claim any welfare benefits, EU students do not have student loan or parental support, most part time jobs we have are only ZERO HOUR contracts.
We must help each other in whatever way we can, and the way to help us all RIGHT NOW is to sign this petition and demand our sustainability
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/302855
If you have concerns about your university's arrangements for teaching and assessment you should raise these with your university or the Office for Students, which regulates the higher education sector.
