Extend Coronovirus support to web based businesses without rateable premises
The current government support is delivered to businesses that have physical presence such as offices but excludes modern methods of working such as internet based businesses, this anomaly should be addressed.
Many micro businesses are now operated on the internet. Mobile hairdressers, electricians, plumbers, surveyors, dog walkers etc, operate only on the internet because they do not require a physical office, or are mostly working in other people's houses or on the road/on site. These businesses will not have premises rated for Business Rates and will therefore miss out on the current Government support because the way it is delivered.
