Mandatory testing for Covid-19 on anyone displaying two or more symptoms.
By refusing so many people testing, the UK government are not allowing complete transparency with their statistics, giving an inaccurate representation of the UK's infection status and rate, thus obstructing true global impact of Covid-19 and prevention measures we should or could be taking.
For the health of the citizens of the UK and of the world, we have a right to know our status and what the true figures of infection rate are. Refusing testing and disabling knowledge of Covid-19 status, vulnerable UK citizens are not safe and those displaying symptoms may not follow correct quarantine guidelines. The government has a duty of care to the people of the UK and to the rest of the world, and it is negligent not to carry out adequate testing during this pandemic.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The conduct of tests is a clinical decision for the NHS, not the UK Government or Parliament.
We have published a petition calling for the Governemnt to provide publicly accessible testing for coronavirus around the UK, which you might want to sign: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/301354
