We call the UK Government to tell shops to stop overpricing essential products

Petition Details

We want the UK Government to tell all shops not to overprice the basic products that we need such as foods, basic hygiene product e.g. hand towels, loo tissues, handwash etc.

Additional Information

when all big supermarkets such as asda, lidl etc run out of all the necesseties so we run to local shops but they are taking advantage of the coronavirus and overcharging the products. 6 big rolls of kitchen towels goes £25 now instead of charging £6, even toilet tissues are overpriced even meet is 9.49 per kg it was £6 before coronavirus. even some pharmacies are seling kids medicine calpo 100mil £9 200mil £19.99. we ask the UK Government to tell these shops not to overprice basic products.
