Include home based businesses in the COVID-19 £10,000 support grant scheme.
Make the COVID-19 £10,000 grants available to the hundreds of thousands of home based businesses, who are not eligible for SBBR as they cannot afford to operate from business premises and therefore are excluded from this support.
As self employed small business owners who cannot afford to rent business premises, we have to work from home with all the associated costs of running a business, equipment, utilities, insurances, employees etc and are suffering the immediate loss of income like every other business. We desperately need financial support immediately, we should not be penalised for working from home. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE NOW OR OUR LIVELIHOODS AND OUR BUSINESSES SIMPLY WILL NOT SURVIVE THIS.
