Force Birmingham and Leeds city councils to delay the introduction of the ULEZ
We want central government to force local government (Birmingham City Council and Leeds Council) to delay the roll out of the Ultra Low Emission Zone by at least 1 year due to the impact it will have on people and businesses recovering from the Covid-19 outbreak.
Implement a law to prevent schemes such as ULEZ and LEZ that are being implemented this year to be delayed by at least a year or even scrapped altogether until the foreseeable future. This will allow people and businesses to help the country get back on track economically and to reverse the losses we have suffered as a whole.

Since you started your petition, Birmingham City Council have delayed the introduction of a ULEZ until the end of 2020 at the earliest due to coronavirus. Leeds City Council have delayed the ULEZ there 'until further notice'. For more information see:
