Give residency status to those in key roles working through Coronavirus crisis
The current criteria for seeking permanent residency would refuse many of those who are now classed as critical workers due to the coronavirus crisis. Therefore anyone in this position e.g. care workers, should be granted residency to thank them for their service
These people are clearly critical to our survival during the coronavirus outbreak. This proves how grossly disproportionate the current criteria for residency is. We owe a great debt to the people putting themselves at risk, working in critical and key roles during the crisis.
