Provide adequate protection against Covid-19 for the NHS
Healthcare workers are caring for Covid-19 patients without masks, visors and surgical gowns. They're working under extreme pressure and risks, with bare basic personal protection equipment to protect themselves and their patients. They're not allowed to use their own supply of protective gear.
NHS staff must be given adequate supplies of FFP3 masks, visors, surgical gowns and gloves. We must protect them fully - doctors, nurses, paramedics, cleaners, porters, radiologists and lab staff - who are risking their lives to protect us.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
You may wish to sign this petition calling for the same action: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/304243
Advice on the use of personal protective equipment is a matter for Public Health England, not the Government or Parliament.
