Petition Action

Let Coronavirus COVID19 run its course. Stop disproportionate control measures.

Petition Details

Immediately lift all of the highly damaging control measures, that are ruining people's livelihoods and metal health. The measures currently employed whilst applicable to an outbreak of "spanish" flu or ebola, are not proportionate to the risk to life posed by the coronavirus.

Additional Information

UK deaths from coronavirus: 144

UK Deaths from flu annually: 17,000
UK deaths from choking annual: 5000
UK deaths annual from alcohol annual: 9000
UK deaths from suicide annually: 5800

On average 5 people die every day on UK roads.
0.3 Cyclists killed in London every day.

It is entirely plausible that more people will commit suicide owing to collapse of their businesses than will be killed by the virus. Negative psychological impacts should also be considered. Please.
