Remove parking restrictions for those in isolation or lockdown for coronavirus
The government should ensure that parking restrictions are removed/lifted during the period of isolation or lockdown during the corona virus crisis. With residential areas a priority.
People self-isolating or in lockdown outside their normal residential area face the disincentive of parking restrictions leading to fines etc, meaning they may not isolate or have to come out of isolation to move their vehicles. They will also be likely to use more public transport which is being discouraged.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Parking restrictions are a matter for local councils.
