Make Coronavirus Covid 19 profiteering on essentials a criminal offence.
Make Coronavirus Covid 19 profiteering on essentials a criminal offence. Also limit bulk buying, beyond personal need of essentials.
Perhaps increase the price of items by 25% for each additional item (so your 2nd pack of loo rolls or baby food is 1.25 x the price of the first one, ….).
From anecdotal evidence, news stories and looking at eBay & Amazon it seems that some are buying up essential supplies, such as alcohol hand wash, baby food and other baby products, etc at levels above and beyond what they need for personal use. They are then looking to profit by selling these items.
Whether via on-line platforms such as eBay or Amazon or direct, it should be made a criminal offence to profiteer on supplies needed for life in the shadow of Coronavirus Covid 19.
