Re-open Caledonian Road Tube Station to serve HMP Pentonville staff.
As part of the fight against COVID-19, 40 tube stations including Caledonian Road have been closed
Caledonian Road serves HMP Pentonville and is used by hundreds of staff every day.
Prison Officers, Doctors, Nurses and multiple other professionals who use this station now have to walk from neighbouring stations at 0700 each morning for 14hr shifts.
Further reductions in service will mean even longer and more difficult journeys to and from work.
Prison work is increasingly dangerous and often thankless, please commit to more than just words and take action to help the ‘Key Workers’ get to work each day.
Re-open Caledonian Road station to allow us to get to work.
