Petition Action

Make an Emergency law to ban Price Gouging

Petition Details

Price gouging is when goods are sold at extortionate prices, usually on ebay or amazon. Ban it, and require the auction website to remove the seller immediately, preventing it happening by comparing prices with normal store prices.

Additional Information

Panic buying is stripping store shelves of essential items. This is made worse for the key workers in the Covid-19 situation who can't get to the stores to get what they need, due to the hours they work.
Panic and bulk buying are caused by those who wish to use the situation to their own ends to profit from it.
